The summer just keeps heating up! Social Media Club has been invited to participate in another first time event. For our June monthly meeting, we will join SeaWorld San Antonio for their Summer Nights VIP event. It is a professional business event which means "Adults Only" event. We'll have to leave the "under 21" crowd at home.

SeaWorld San Antonio has been integrating social media into its day to day communication since 2007.

They have invited the Social Media Club San Antonio to join them for the Summer Nights VIP party this Thursday June 11, 2009, from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. During the party we will preview the new attractions at the park, including an exciting new social media game. SeaWorld will provide refreshments, adult beverages and a fun time. This will take the place of our regular monthly meeting.

To attend, please RSVP on the official invitation, through Twitter, or send an e-mail to kamichat at yahoo dot com no later than Wednesday morning so that you can be placed on the VIP list.

SeaWorld has been an early adopter of social media in San Antonio and has integrated it throughout their communications process. They have an internal social media team that will be on hand Thursday to mingle with SMCSA members.

Among their social media properties are a blog and micro site, the Coaster Connection; a team blog called Under the Sea; a Facebook Community; a YouTube Channel, WAVE TV; a Flickr Photostream; and multiple Twitter accounts, which you can find and follow through its LiveChat feature on the blog.

Are we just meeting at the front gate? Anybody know how much parking costs?
