Events in June & Calendars

As if May wasn't busy enough with GreenCamp, PodCamp 3.0 and Startup Weekend II, here comes June. There are plenty of opportunities for folks to get together for some Social Media "learn, share, grow". This week Social Media Club will be holding its monthly meeting on Thursday (6/11) from 6:00-8:00pm. Then the following week Social Media Breakfast will be on the West side of town Wednesday (6/17) from 7:30-9:00am.
These two monthly events don't include all of the Tweetups, Meetups and Workshops happening around town. There have been discussions about creating an all in one calendar to make keeping up with our thriving community easier. For now the best way to keep up with everything going on is to keep up with Twitter.

We may use one or more of the following sites to manage events: UpComing, Craigslist, Meetup, Twtvite or Eventbrite, However, we all turn to Twitter to let folks to both announce and remind folks about events around town.

Let us know if you have found a community calendar that works for your group, organization or business. Our community has grown by leaps and bounds due to shared knowledge and resources. Let's continue this winning trend.
