Wine Tasting Event for SMC

Jennifer and I are looking at hosting a Wine Tasting event in the City of San Antonio. Somewhere near Downtown is preferred, anyone have any suggestions?

Nothing like fine wine and good company to keep the conversation going!

Thanks for the suggestion, I'm going to send him a tweet. It'll be nice to feature him as a spot where SMC is holding their gathering. Is this something you'd be interested in attending yourself?

Not sure if this is too far from downtown but there is a wine bar in Alamo Heights called Vela (next door to Paloma Blanca).

Gylon, as much as I love downtown, in a recent stint with Downtown parking for an event, I will probably avoid it at all costs, but will keep a central location near downtown possible. Thanks for offering, and if something comes up that Downtown parking is not an issue for folks then we'll look into a venue like that.

Alamo Heights is centralized enough. I'll look it up, do you have any personal contacts there that I should make contact with? I've already got one that was suggested, but I'll look into both and see which venue offers the best for our event. Thanks for chiming in!
